Several months ago we put up a contest for those with creativity and the ability to make a fun video for our new ‘movie trailer’ styled promo.  Well, we have a winner, check it out:

We want to thank Joe Summerhays for this great take on the audio trailer we made!  We liked it so much we commissioned Joe to do several other videos for us!  Thanks Joe!

We sure had a lot of fun coming up with the promos and now we want to know what you think!  Let us know.

Yeah, we posted a contest on the site several months ago. A friend has since got something about 1/4 of as good from sitepoint.com, but the contest is where you should start!


I can’t seem to view the video for some reason. I have adobe flash player installed, but the page just seems to be loading continuously. Help!


Brilliant! and that’s what I love about this brave new world.

You dream up an idea someone acts on it and has an opportunity to showcase their work that helps to create a career that would have been near to impossible just a couple of years ago. You get great content, they get opportunity, we’re entertained, everyone wins… Except the big end of town :-)


I’d be really interested in hiring someone to do a video like this for me as well!


Yup, Seems like it loads forever in IE (7) but works okay in Firefox. Boy have times changed. :)


That’s a great 2D video. I really like the use of the arrow and added sound effects.
Unfortunately, I was working a Visual FX job at the time and couldn’t spare the time to work on a video for you guys.

The plan was to make it more viral and use 3D animation, etc…
