We’re back. Did you miss us? We missed you.

We know it was a long drought, but that is about to end. Internet Business Mastery will be returning next week with brand new episodes. Look at the bright side, at least we didn’t make you wait as long as 24 or Lost ;).

To commemorate the new “season”, we’ve produced a brand new show opener. Click on the player below to check it out.

**Please let us know what you think about the new opener!

Here are the episodes you can look forward to in the coming weeks.

  • Lessons learned from running two online webinar series that generated $72,327 in sales
  • The ultimate Web 2.0 instant site launch system—and it’s free
  • Internet business success stories from the IBM community; how people just like you are making it happen
  • Excerpts from the interview with Tim Ferris, author of the Four-Hour Workweek

What else would you like to hear in the next season of the show?

Great news Jayson. So far we are learning a lot from your Professional Podcasting course, and look forward to you taking up your podcast program again with Sterling.

Oh, and let suggest a topic, we are going to be transcribing our blogs and then taking those transcriptions and posting them on some of the article hub sites. What do you think of that idea?

The one thing I really liked about your podcasts is your intro and segway music, I think you got it right the first time. I hope you may reconsider using this new intro, I have it embedded in my head and I am sure the rest of us listeners do also. You could play 50 songs at once but I would definitely pick out your intro song out of the pack which I think is pretty powerful.

I know change is good for all whether we like it or not.

Bob,

Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering what people would think of this change. Any other opinions?

Wo Hoo, Cant wait to here you guys again, been wondering what happened, can I buy your program let ?????

Sorry to disagree with Bob, but I think the new opener is both funny and “on message”. I also think it’s great to change things up (after 30 podcasts) to add new energy. I say “go for it”! Either way, glad you’re back!

Emmon, the good news is it is really not going to matter and I can just fast forward through till Sterling and Jay start talking on the program. Sometimes good things do not need to be changed just for the sake of changing. Recently Business Week (great mag if you only want to read one business weekly) changed their whole look of their magazine and now it is very difficult to find the sections that used to be easy reads in the previous version.

Bottom line its the content you and I look forward to on each podcast, not the dude that does the Saturday Night Drag Racing Commercials on the radio. (Just having some fun Sterling and Jay).

Why don’t more people comment on your blog? This is a quality blog. We need more points of view here! Sterling and Jay, ask more people to comment on your blog on the next podcast.

@Bob,

We’ll put the call out for you :).

@Marc,

The course is not available yet, but watch for an opportunity at the beginning of 2008.

Hi Guys,

I’m a fan of the podcast but would have to give you 2 thumbs way down on the new intro. Though I appreciate there may be a degree of sarcasm/irony intended (no?) it typecasts your audience too narrowly, and promises too much. This might appeal to the “get rich quick guys” but not the quality of clientele I believe you’re reaching.

For instance, I run my own business and don;t view the world as “uninspired” or “cynical”. What I appreciate about you guys is your candor and authenticity - this intro is a total disconnect.

Use your own voice - not some superhero on steroids. Remember, this is going to be the first thing people hear of you and they may not get the clever “joke” (probably haven;t read the 4-hour work week either).

At first I thought your old intro was a little raunchy but its grown on me. As Bob pointed out, it’s catchy and has definitely become a part of your brand in my mind.

Sterling and Jay–

Hi guys. I really enjoy your podcasts. I have just about finished all of them to date and have come to feel like you guys are my pals.

You often talk about going to seminars, networking, etc. Can you suggest some ideas how I might go about taking advantage of these learning experiences. I’m kind of insulated here in Orange County, CA and not sure how to find out when and where these seminars take place. (I am actually trying to educate myself generally as regards internet marketing as I plan to start a new business shortly doing what I used to do–import and wholesale handbags. I am intrigued about the possibility of selling online as well as going with my usual model of shipping to retail chain stores.)

Thank you very much for your information, wit, and good cheer.

Best regards,

John Mead

John,

The best way to find out about conferences is to get on the email lists for experts/gurus that are teaching stuff along the lines of what you need. The trick is not to get overwhelmed by the opportunities or feel like you have to do them all. Find the ones that you believe will give you info that you can act on right away and see results.

Hey John - Contact me. I’m in Tustin. Might be interesting to chat. My contact information is at http://www.CalBanyan.com. Cal

Great Introduction for the IBM return… Background music blend exceedingly well… Really looking forward to the episodes of the incoming weeks.
