Hi Jay & Sterling,

First of all I´m sure you have had thousands of people emailing you to thank you guys for these EXCELLENT podcasts on this website and I´d just like to add to that. I´ve found them absolutely addictive and have been sitting down for the past 2 days going back over all 7 episodes taking valuable detailed notes….extremely valuable for someone like me that is just starting out and needs to hear this kinda stuff. I´ve already but clickbank.com into force and have been coming up with cheques for the value of $500+ every 2 weeks so I´m really happy about that! Dabbling with Clickbank is only the start for me and I plan to follow the same business model you talk about whereby you have 30, 50 100+ websites up and running in the end each generating a modest sum each month.

I´m definately gona buy those books you talk about from Amazon and don´t worry…I´ll go through your affiliate link here to support you guys! :o)

Keep up the terrific work!
All the best,
Dave Rogers, Ireland.

FROM STERLING:

Hello Dave,

Thanks for the kind words and congratulations on your clickbank business. I wish you continued and longterm growth!

I’m a newbie blogger that just started using AdSense through Blogspot
Two questions -
1. How do I keyword optimize my blog?
2. I’ve started Ebay/Amazon selling my house clutter, DVDs, books etc. Once I’m done selling it all, what’s a good 1st product to you would recommend to buy, maybe in bulk, and try to sell?
My goal is to use a simple product that will allow me to learn the ropes, so to speak.

Aside from these, I’d like to say that you guys put together one of the best Podcasts I’ve been lucky enough to run across.

Thanks again!

Pablo

Hello Pablo,

As for question #1, we will be addressing how Jay and I will be handling such questions near the end of Episode 8, so listen to that for details.

Question #2, normally I would refer you to my answer for question #1, but I happen to have a great resource I use for finding products to sell, Check out this link:

Click HERE for the great eBay Resource

Getting started is the key and starting with a simple product first to learn the ropes is a great plan!

Thanks for the compliments, we appreciate it!

Thanks,
Sterling

Hi Guys

Great work, thanks for all your helpfull hints.

I have been running a cricket supplies site since feb this year and feel like there is no end to my learning curve and wonder when I will convert at least 100 visits into 1 sale.

Look forward to hearing about more marketing appoaches on the web.

Regards
Andrew

Hey guys. I know you talked about, if not on this post one shortly before or after it, how you started the bids at $.99 and that made you extra money. You also mention then going back to the bidders that did not get the product and offering to sell them the product for that price. I am curious how you went about doing that. I know that eBay does not let you sell to customers outside their eBay system. I recall when I tried to inquire about this they did not send my e-mail to the other person, also, I know they make contacting members more difficult if you have not done business with them, especially if they are not selling anything. thanks for the awesome advice and this great podcast.

Nick

Nick,

We were referring to what is called a second chance offer. This allows you to send a message to someone who bid on your item but did not win. It gives them the chance to buy the product at their last bid amount.
